Event Management Assisstant

You support our event manager at our Boat & Beach Parties, as well as our club tours. Here, you are fully integrated into event planning, event organization, event execution, event tracking and optimizing. e optimize our events each day, your creativity and commitment are in demand! You will actively influence the quality of our events.

Your tasks include: 

• preparation of our events (purchase, set-up, loading, etc.)
• you have an overview of inventory and stock
• contacting a person from the supplier on site
• follow-up of our events (dismantling, etc.)

Your work area will be very varied and you will participate in many different events. There are no limits to your practical experience. Additionally, you will be involved in the research on the constant cost optimization and so you learn how to handle fixed budgets.

Qualification: 

• at least 3rd semester of a topic-relevant study course
• very good knowledge of English, basic knowledge in Spanish
• good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• basic knowledge with at least one professional image processing program (Photoshop, Illustrator or similar)
• first experience in the above-mentioned areas
• 100% reliability

Your work environment:
You will work in Ibiza, Spain. Ibiza is a very popular tourist destination in the Balearic Islands and besides its fascinating landscapes, beaches, and coves, is also thrilled with the biggest and best clubs in the world.

Myholidaybeat is an event agency, that has become an integral part of the Ibiza lifestyle in recent years. The top seller product is the Oceanbeat boat party, which attracts several thousand visitors from all over the world every year and is known as the biggest and officially best boat party on Ibiza. Online marketing and, in particular, social media and community management is a really important part of us. We maintain a very open corporate culture and are therefore very open to ideas and suggestions. As an intern, you are an important part of the team and are regarded, treated and demanded as a full-fledged workforce.

Your tasks: 

• Research and editorial implementation (text, image, video) for the various social media channels Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Twitter, YouTube as well as analysis and optimization
• Search, plan, post, comment, stimulate discussion, answer questions and encourage purchase
• Support for own content creation (video production, photo shootings, etc.)
• Support for inline marketing & sales strategy, implementation, and analysis
• Market research and analysis
• Create and proof partnerships

Your qualifications: 

• Studied in the field of PR, communication, (online) journalism or humanities, marketing/media management
• First practical experience in PR, journalism, company communication
• High affinity to social media and active use of social media channels (you have already built up a
• Facebook, Instagram or YouTube Community)
• Very good experience and mastery of journalistic forms of presentation
• Secure handling of Microsoft Office
• Very good German and English language skills both spoken and written
• Excellent organization and communicative skills
• High degree of self-reliance, commitment, efficiency and creativity

Advantageous: 

• Spanish and/or other language skills
• Knowledge of image and graphics processing (e.g. Photoshop)
• Knowledge of video creation and editing (e.g. YouTube)
• Web analytics and HTML/CSS – knowledge
